2015 IGC Retailer of the Year

English Gardens is proud to be honored with the 2015 IGC Retailer of the Year award. Our shareholders received the award during the 9th annual IGC Show at Navy Pier in Chicago on August 19, 2015.

The IGC (Independent Garden Center) Retailer of the Year Award is presented annually to a garden center demonstrating notable leadership and innovation. The award was established in memory of Dick Morey, founder of IGC Magazine and an advocate for the independent sector.

Over the years we’ve received many of these honors, including:
  • Named Member of the Year from the Michigan Green Industry Association (MGIA) in 2017
  • Named IGC Retailer of the Year in 2015.
  • Named Best of Detroit in Hour Magazine: 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 and more since 2005.

  • Named Best Place to Upgrade Your Garden by readers of the Metro Times in 2002.
  • Named Best of the Best by readers of the Macomb Daily in 2016.
  • Voted Best of the Best Detroit in 2021.
  • Named 13th among the top 100 Independent Garden Centers by Garden Center Magazine in 2022
