Living a more green and eco-friendly life is something we should all strive to do. Reducing the use of single-use plastics is a great way to start. 

Proven Winners has developed a plant-based biodegradable container to eliminate the need for plastic. These new containers will be featured on a selection of grande annuals in all English Gardens locations for a limited time. Varieties include Vista Bubblegum Supertunia, Lemon Coral Sedum, Diamond Frost Euphorbia.

The ECOPot Grande® is compostable and made from renewable plants that break down much more quickly than traditional containers. For an added bonus, it can be planted directly in the garden to save time while planting. The container features pull tabs to remove the bottom which will expose the roots, making for easy planting. 

The pot is infused with slow-release fertilizer, helping your plants thrive all season-long. Although it is still best practice fertilizer bi-weekly with a water soluble fertilizer as the season continues. The best part is, these pots can be composted if you chose not to plant them. Once planted any remaining materials at the end of the season can be tilled into the soil for added nutrients.
