Thanks to the support of customers who shopped during our annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, November 5, English Gardens is donating $6,500 to Festival of Trees, the largest fundraiser for Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
“We are pleased to support the Festival of Trees again this year,” says John Darin, English Gardens President “Our annual Open House kicks off our holiday season. We started donating a portion of this event’s sales several years ago as part of our sponsorship to Festival of Trees. We’re thankful for the work they do to help support children’s health and wellness in our communities.
The 33rd annual Festival of Trees, returns to the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center November 19 through November 26. The Festival of Trees is a public display of professionally designed Christmas trees, tabletop trees, wreaths and other holiday gift shop items, which are sold to raise funds for pediatric research.
“Festival of Trees is truly thankful for the many years of generosity bestowed upon us through our partnership with English Gardens”, says Theresa Diefenbach, Festival of Trees Director. “English Gardens and their wonderful staff have been a part of the Festival of Trees family since we began in 1985.
