Annual Flowers
Calendula Pot Marigold Zeolights: These gorgeous double bloom annual flowers are edible! The bronze petals fade to a delicate pink, contrasting against the vivid maroon back. Attracts pollinators, is drought resistant and is deer resistant.
Love-In-A-Mist Chocolate and Cream: Dual-colored, edible and intriguing blooms on this annual are fairly care-free. Perfect for cut flower arrangements, pollinators will love this flower.
Morning Glory Chocolate: A vigorous vine that grows up to 10 feet, this flower blooms from midsummer until frost. Grown as an annual in Michigan’s gardening zone.
Nasturtium Black Velvet: Grown as an annual, Black Velvet adds a striking reddish-black color to your garden. The bloom is also edible! Attracts pollinators and is a proven rabbit and deer deterrent.
Scabiosa Pincushion Flower Black Knight: This almost-black annual blooms for an extended period and attracts pollinators. Also great for cut flower arrangements!
Snapdragon Black Prince: Grown as an annual, the foliage on Black Prince turns bronze as the weather cools. Like other Snapdragons, it blooms heaviest in cool weather, takes a break in the summer and then returns to full bloom in the fall.
Sunflower Shock-O-Lat: With yellow tipped bronze-red petals, Shock-O-Lat is a beautiful annual to incorporate into your garden. Drought tolerant and attracts pollinators.
Sweet Pea Elegance Blend: An elegant and colorful mix of annual blooms with a mild scent. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators.
Wheat Utrecht Blue: Bright blue seed heads that keep their color even after drying. Can be used in arrangements, baskets and other crafts.
Perennial Flowers
Flax Blue: At one to two feet tall, this beautiful perennial features sky blue flowers. Plants are very hardy and can withstand heat, cold, poor soil, drought and even partial shade. Plant in groups or mix with other wildflowers as effective erosion control.
Biennial Flowers
Hollyhock Outhouse: This biennial features pink, white, red and burgundy flowers. Flowers bloom throughout the summer and are even edible! Attracts pollinators and is deer resistant.
Sweet William Black Adder: A deep maroon biennial flower. It is a very low maintenance flower that is beautiful in both rock gardens and containers.
