James started with English Gardens Landscape Company in September of 2016 after graduating from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Architecture. 

Since then, James has worked with crews across Metro Detroit learning the ins and outs of the business. Recently he started taking on more design projects since partnering with our West Bloomfield store and other designers. “It has been an amazing and knowledgeable learning process that I couldn’t do without the help of the team.” James is also gaining first-hand holiday lighting experience by working as one of the designers for the City of Royal Oak lighting.

James loves any job that takes him to the city of Detroit. Being a Detroit native, James gets to appreciate his work first hand as he drives through the streets each day. “Seeing a yard transform into something beautiful is certainly a rewarding experience that not only I get to have, but something I can share with my customers.”
