For the 10th year, English Gardens will partner with the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation to provide Christmas Trees for Military families stationed across the United States. The Trees for Troops Program teams with Michigan Christmas Tree Growers Association and FedEx to deliver trees to military bases nationwide and overseas.
A $40 donation will provide a 6 to 7-foot fresh-cut Christmas tree to one of nearly 70 military bases throughout the country and overseas. With this donation, you are also able to send a hand-written message to the troops, to be delivered with the tree. Trees can be donated online or at any English Gardens store.
In-store, English Gardens is accepting donations for $5 or $10 towards the cost of one tree. All donations are tax-deductible, and you can donate as many as you would like.
For every tree donated, English Gardens will donate $5 to support the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation’s annual program.
“This is a great cause and we’re proud to be able to help give back to members of the military and their families who give so much to us,” says John Darin, President, English Gardens.
Since 2012, English Gardens customers have donated more than 3,000 Christmas Trees to the Trees for Troops program. Nationally, the program has provided more than 260,000 Christmas Trees to military families and troops in the United States and overseas.
