Details make a landscape extra special. English Gardens designers are always looking for plants and elements that can be used to our projects stand out.

When it comes to boulders, English Gardens carries the best quality. These are blue-green shot rock from the south side of Lake Superior in a cropping that was strong enough to withstand the Glaciers.  They’re similar to those found in the Pictured Rocks National Parks and along the shoreline.  The huge sections of rock are dynamited into smaller irregular-shaped boulders that knit together to form a tight-fitting retaining wall. The boulders are “freshly” exposed to weather and air, so their color is bright and bold; unlike others that have been exposed to the elements for hundreds of years.

These boulders are great as accent pieces or as a focal point in your landscape.
