Terrariums have become super popular over the last few years – and it’s no wonder! They are simple and fun to create, are easy to care for, and add lush, decorative interest. These whimsical terrariums come in many shapes, sizes and styles and allow you the creative freedom to make something you love.

Choose a plastic or glass bowl, with no holes in the bottom, and an opening at the top.  Add your drainage layers from the ground up: pebbles, charcoal, and sphagnum moss.

Now, add soil and arrange your plants, packing in more soil around them as you go. Cacti, succulents, mini ferns and ivy are a few great options for your terrarium.

Add in your desired decorations to enhance your beautiful terrarium. Experiment with interesting rocks, pebbles, decorative colored moss and more!

Terrarium Care Tips

• Place in a location where it received indirect sunlight.
• Water when the soil is dry to the touch. The goal is to wet the soil, but not to saturate the layer of rocks or charcoal.
• Fertilizer is not needed, as you want the plants to grow slowly.
