A shopping we will go — Little Miss was so excited to go shopping and pick out all the plants she wanted for her fairy garden.
“Look at this Momma” is all I heard as she charged ahead into the shade house searching for colorful flowers to decorate her fairy garden. We choose a mix of annuals and perennials to plant in our garden. We ran out of time to plant that day, so the next day when I picked her up from school, I told her we were going home to plant her fairy garden – she was skipping around telling her friends she was going home to plant her fairy garden – priceless.
Rain or shine we are out in the garden – of course just as we started to plant the rain drops started to fall. But that doesn’t stop us! We are out there digging away creating our fairy oasis. There she goes before I even say a word pulling the annuals out of the pack and tearing the roots and making a hole for it in the garden.
Little Miss planted the majority of her fairy garden herself, I helped with the places she couldn’t reach. She placed the décor where ever she wanted and it turned out great. She visits the garden and changes the placement every so often. She has such a fun time with it. Our fairy garden is such a great addition to our garden; I would recommend one to anyone with a child or even just for themselves!!
