From August 1 to August 31, English Gardens hosted the #MakeLifeBeautiful social media contest. Facebook fans were instructed to share a picture of their gardens for a chance to win a $100 gift card. English Gardens Associates were also invited to take part in the contest by sharing their gardens with the hashtag #EGAssociate.
We received so many beautiful gardens and would like to highlight the winners, as well as a few other gardeners who participated in our #MakeLifeBeautiful contest! Thank you to all those that participated.
Renee shared multiple pictures of her brightly colored garden and received many likes on Facebook, which made her the winner for our #MakeLifeBeautiful contest. We adore her mix of white, pink and red throughout the garden.
The English Gardens associate who won the second category of this contest is David Cooper from English Gardens Dearborn Heights. His Munstead English Lavender is flourishing alongside this serene birdbath.
We received many other entries such as this photo from Donna, an English Gardens Sales Associate from our seasonal location within Colasanti’s Market. Her cat stands out against the Proven Winners Superbena Royal Red.
We also loved this entry from Pat. Her garden is brimming with color and mixes a stunning array of perennials and annuals.
Martha shared her gorgeous backyard with us! Her winding patio is accented by multiple perennials.
Susie also shared her pollinator garden with us for the #MakeLifeBeautiful contest. We love to see gardeners benefitting the pollinators.
We also received this whimsical fairy garden from Sheay. The striking pink moss at the forefront accents the fun fairy pond and other miniatures incorporated in this garden.
