This residential landscape reconstruction results in a Silver Award from the Michigan Green Industry Association from Jamey Gutierrez, senior landscape designer at English Gardens.
Jamey and the landscape team enhanced the curb appeal of this home. New trees and shrubs were planted around the foundation to soften the front of the house and provide seasonal interest all year.
A new brick walkway added a curve to the foundation beds and breaks up the flat lines of the front of the house.
Special or Unusual Problems Encountered:
Working around many mature trees, the crew had to be careful not to cut roots in most of the beds. The trees also provide a large amount of shade limiting the plant palette.
