Designing landscapes for newly built homes provides a wealth of opportunities for creativity. The Dhillon’s project provided a blank slate for Senior Landscape Designer Stephanie VanHaverbeck.
The homeowners wanted a front landscape that was simple and clean, and offered lots of curb appeal for their large corner lot. They weren’t looking for a lot of color and excitement.
The end result was a design of quiet elegance featuring a Japanese Maple Tree combined with boxwood and evergreens.
The project received a Gold Environmental Improvement Award from the Michigan Green Industry Association. It’s one of eight received by the English Gardens Landscape Company in 2016.
