Senior designer Stephanie VanHaverbeck was one of the designers who received a Gold Award from the Michigan Green Industry Association for this residential landscape reconstruction.
The homeowner of this condo in a beautiful complex was determined to make her outdoor living space her own. The existing deck was far too plain. And despite the incredibly small space, she saw the potential.
She wanted an outdoor living space that had character, comfort and privacy. It needed to be suitable for entertaining, and include a water feature so the sound could be heard throughout the house when the doors and windows were open.
English Gardens created a patio perfect for entertaining, added a water feature, and created seat walls with soft flowing curves that were constructed of Ledgestone coping to create niches for seating and pockets for gardening.
The result is a beautiful space that provides everything she wanted. Her backyard is unique to her complex, and she loves spending many hours in her outdoor space.
