Ranked from easiest to more difficult to take care of, here are our top 10 plants to liven up your office space:

1. Dieffenbachia – A beautiful variegated plant with an easy temperament, Dieffenbachia is an eye-catching addition to any desk. Excellent for cubicles or offices with no direct sunlight, this plant is low-maintenance and needs to dry out between watering.

2. ZZ Plants – Very showy, this plant offers a striking look to add to any cubicle or office. Water when the soil is dry to the touch. They will thrive in low-light conditions.

3. Dracaena – With variegated and spikey foliage, dracaena tolerate low-light conditions and will forgive the occasional missed watering. Water when the soil is dry.

4. Spider plants – Perfect plants for newbie gardeners! With occasional pruning and bright indirect sunlight, you can let these plants dry out between watering and they will thrive.

5. Succulents – There are so many varieties of succulents to choose from, such as flowering Kalanchoe or elegant Jade. Try a succulent garden for variety. Water when the soil is thoroughly dry. Succulents like indirect bright light.

6. Pothos – Incredibly low-maintenance plants that thrive on low-light and infrequent watering. Pothos are vines, so either place on a stand by your desk, train it to grow vertically on a trellis or trim the vines to fit in the space.

7. Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen) – With pink or white variegation, Chinese Evergreens will add a touch of color to your desk. These plants are great for low-light conditions. Keep the soil moist, but not soggy.  

8. Fittonia (Nerve Plant) – The variegation on the foliage make nerve plants a very attractive plant to showcase on your desk. These plants are great because they can thrive in fluorescent lighting. Keep a spray bottle on hand to mist the leaves and keep the soil moderately moist.

9. Maidenhair Ferns – With soft and delicate foliage, this plant showcases a simplistic beauty. This plant does need to stay moist, so take a moment each day at work to check the soil, and water if needed.

10. Lucky Bamboo – Add a little luck to your office with lucky bamboo. Lucky bamboo does need some sunlight, so they will prosper in offices with a window. They can also be grown in a vase with water. Be sure the roots are always below water level.
