English Gardens customers donated $4,560.08 to the American Red Cross this October. Throughout the month of October, customers were able to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or more with our Change for Change Program to donate to the American Red Cross of Southeast Michigan’s Home Fire Campaign. Thank You for your generous support, your donations are making a difference in our community. 

October is Fire Prevention Month, and English Gardens has teamed up with the American Red Cross to raise money for their Home Fire Campaign through our Change for Change program. 

Change for Change allows customers to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or more. All of the money raised goes directly to the American Red Cross Home Fire Campaign. Change for Change runs through the month of October.

Every 8 minutes The American Red Cross responds to disasters, providing comfort, relief and recovery assistance. In 2018, the Red Cross responded to 3,450 home fires across Southeast Michigan. 

This is English Gardens’ first time partnering with The American Red Cross. Our “Change for Change” (previously “Round Up Your Purchase”) program was launched in 2017 and has raised money to build a Tiny Home, a program with Cass Community Social Services, the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute to support breast cancer research and Forgotten Harvest.
